Have you had Rhode Island Reds Before.? I’ve had them....and they are the nastiest,feather plucking, birds I evah had. Feathers missing off everyone one of them. Gave up on those ..along time ago. Hope you have bettah luck than I did.

for fresh eggs let stand at room temp for a day(important ) then into a large pot of boiling water for 8;30 min at 2000ft altitude above sea level .instantly into ICE water after that ..crack egg shells on the ends and let cool till cold then peel

My hens are molting too. No eggs for the past two weeks, but I did get one today, so maybe they will start up again soon.

My quail seam to never miss a beat I get eggs everyday, year round from them.

Just buy yourself a big jar of Claussen Pickles, eat the pickles and drop them peeled hard boiled eggs in the pickle juice in the fridge for 7-10 days and eat em up Ness. Easy peasy!

Store them in lime water, they will keep for a long time. a couple of years.

I pressure cook mine and the shell comes off easily.

Those are always in the fridge...So....any need to sterilize the jars,before putting eggs in ?

No just drop them in after you eat the pickles. I don't do anything or even pour out the juice, just put the eggs in and wait. The wait is the hard part.
