My door at the cabin is 37 inches wide. I'd like to store an old snowmobile there but many seem very wide nowadays.
Are there makes and models out there that are narrower?

The old Skidoo Tundra was really narrow, not sure about the new ones, but you might want to check them out. You might want to ask this question on the Wilderness Trapping page; lots of snowmachine guys over there.

The newest that will make your grade were tundra II's and Bravos that I am aware of. Newest Tundra II is probably 2005 or so. Newest Bravo maybe 2010? Plenty of old front ski leaf spring machines prior to about 1995 that will also make the grade.

Are there makes and models out there that are narrower? Narrow is not good when it comes to riding snowmachiens. Wider is much better. I would cut my door wider before buying a narrow tippy machine.

Where are you guys finding the stats on these machines?
I found a 86 Bravo for sale near my friends place. Its on the other side of the state near Superior but I plan on being over there in a month. I have a tape measure and these machines are in my yard. White would be right the Tundra II without skins is just under 37". Green county may be right on the 2001 Tundra R's if they changed the skis. 2000 will fit.

Yeah maybe cut the door a bit wider and make it a double door. Or just take a run at it and skip the cutting step.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Cut the door in half horizontally. Make the bottom wider. Don’t screw with the header.
