I have been thinking about pulling some money out and paying off a house I'm selling on contract. Insted of them making the payments and money going to the bank they will be paying me @7% fairly good stable return and avoid a possibility crash losses.
On the other hand I could cash out and invest in sewing machines and tanning equipment so when my plant gets shut down if the Democrats get in due to their environmental policies I will have the time to learn how to sew and tan fur. Once I developed a market I won't wast time trapping I will just buy all the $5 fur and profit untill my trend setting fur bring back high fur prices. We will all win.

I don’t play with stocks. I buy mutual funds based on their 30 year track record, and leave em alone. So far I have averaged about 10.5% rate of return. It’s not super great returns but it’s steady. I have two accounts, and if I add nothing to the bigger one, and leave it where it is, assuming the same returns I’ve been getting since I started it 6 years ago will continue, I’ll have $1,038,707.00 in that one account, and I figure that’s good enough returns for me. Obviously I’m not going to stop contributing, but I’m pretty comfortable I’ll retire well off no matter what happens with the markets this election.
