Why do people waste their vote?
Because it won't effect the outcome of the election. No matter who the governor voted for, it wouldn't change the fact that Biden will win that states electoral college votes. So he might as well vote his conscience. Same with me here in Nebraska.....Trump's gonna win our state, so no matter who I vote for, it won't make a difference. So I don't consider my vote wasted. You may feel differently, and that's fine. There's only a few states where voting third party might actually make a difference and effect the outcome of the election. As I'd rather see trump win than Biden given the choice between the two, if I lived in one of those states I'd vote Trump. If the election was decided based on popular vote I'd vote Trump all day long, because it wouldn't matter where I lived, my vote would make a difference. But because of the electoral college, my vote won't matter as far as my state goes....the electoral votes are going to Trump, guaranteed.

Then just Vote Trump!
All day long!!! Of the candidates that have a chance of winning, he's the one is prefer. I don't really care for him, but REEEAAAALLLY don't like Biden. But, the electoral college allows me to vote for the candidate that I feel closest represents me without worrying about my vote helping biden to win.
