Bob trapper B Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 3,960 Northern Nevada	Yes. The gulf wax they sell in the canning section works fine. You can add a little bit of beeswax to make it hold up better, but it’s not necessary. "I have two guns, one for each of ya."

OhioBoy OP trapper Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 3,002 Ohio	Ok thanks. I was asking b/c I just watched a video on waxing ducks to pluck them. You get get 10lbs of paraffin on amazon for like $30. I just wanted to see if I could use it for both. Thanks.
