I heard and then saw a small flock of Sandhill cranes flying over head a thousand or more feet high. They must have been lost to be around here!!

I would have went with ya', Sask! It's easier to forget how cold you are when the birds are working! No need for hand warmers with a warm barrel. Looks like some nice tubby birds.
