You borrow that from the museum? Newer than most of mine.Most of mine are the old square cornered ones. Not the first generation but I have dozens of the ones in Nessie's pic which I long ago quit using when we transitioned to magnums and I didn't like them because I couldn't get the trigger creep out of them anymore, some were really bad. Recently pulled some out because I was running out of gear with how busy the nuisance work got this fall. Following Boco's suggestion I replaced the trigger and dog systems with belisle parts and they work great.

You're going to get some hip caught otter and beaver with triggers like that. When I am doing a beaver job....I don’t want a 5.00 rat plugging up my traps....avoid ,is the key word here.
