Today I tuned my (6) Bridger #2 Dogless. I levelled the pan, and adjusted the pan tension.
I ended up filing down the dogs/pan latch thing a bit.

Some of them the pans point slightly down, which is apparently not a bad thing.

Also, the other day, I finished up my waxed sand, which I did in my mom's roasting pan, needless to say I ended up giving her money to buy a new one. grin

Well, you already have a pan for next year, then!

Great post with great pics, MySide!

Season is approaching! I hope everyone is getting ready! I was working on the furroom with my buddy yesterday, it's coming along!

Today I caught my first coyote. Yesterday I set out 5 coyote sets with scotiantrapper, today I had ol' yote waiting for me. I hope I catch another tomorrow! Thanks for the help scotiantrapper!
Skinning this guy was easier than I thought it would be.

Yes I already posted this on another thread, but I figure I'd put it here too.

How did coyotes get to Prince Edward Island...?

Ain’t nothing to it, just do it!
The skinning and fur prep part is nothing but time, attention to details, and patience.
Big congrats on your first coyote and hopefully that is just the start of many more!

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

From what I read they crossed Northumberland Straight on the winter ice in the early eighties.
