This model sold out in less then 2 hours for a price of ~110k$. Interesting and very high tech truck. If you want one there is a waiting list for you to get on see your local dealer and they will take care of the details.

I cant find out how long it takes to fully charge on household current, battery life expectancy, number of batteries or battery cost. AMP hours to fully charge so cost can be calculated

110k for a depreciating asset is a wonderful use of money laugh

Bob, vehicles cost. Start with the real total you must pay. The amount you put down plus the total amount you will pay if the money is borrowed. I figure with a new 4wd gas engine powered pickup I will get 250,000 miles out of it. If that takes 15 years, tag cost will decrease a bunch after 5 years. It will take 13000 gallons of gas, 80 oil changes, 5 serpentine belts, 2 radiator flushes, 6 sets of tires, 4 batteries, 5 sets of plugs, one set of new plug wires, probably need about 3000 bucks in miscellaneous repair. Will need insurance also. Ten years of full coverage and five of liability. Add all that up and divide by 250,000 or 180 months. However you want to figure it.

So to figure cost you need much more than vehicle price. I can't find that info on the electric pickup.

Obviously vehicles cost. I sincerely doubt that starting out at 110k right off the bat just for the pickup, plus maintenance, etc, figures in any way shape or form to be an economical vehicle. If the batteries are anything like solar batteries they are EXPENSIVE and they have a very short working life compared to their cost

My thoughts too Bob. Also electric bill will be huge. Along with ridiculously long charging times. 7 to 40 miles per hour of charge? I bet its lots closer to 7 than 40.

I wonder how the freezing cold of the northwoods affects those batteries.
