Please no negative comments about France, but it was just announced we are going into a 1 month lockdown starting Thursday. We have been above 50,000 new cases a day for four days now, even after a curfew for two weeks. That would be like 300,000 new cases a day in the US.

I hope the same thing doesn't happen in the states, but here, we've had a mild fall so it is not weather related, but because of the spread of the summer tourists and bad behavior amongst the young at night.

We're lucky to be able to go up to the farm and hunt and hide.

Take care every one of you.

Pete

the legislature told him no back in May.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I am sorry to hear that Pete. Is the mortality rate still dropping in France like it has been in the US? Some of the new treatments here appear to be much more effective. I hope you and your wife stay healthy. I enjoy your pictures of the beautiful area you live in.

Our governess here in Michigan, hoping for a Biden cabinet seat, having been passed over for VP will play every Covid political angle she can. We need common sense leadership, not political agenda driven beat downs.

Just when do the rest of the worlds countries get to send a bill to China?? Does China not owe the whole world a very large debt?

Pete, my friend, if I had to go into a lockdown for 30 days, well yer farm really is not a bad place to be.
Watch out for folks from Wisconsin parachuting in. We will bring cheese, ammunition and beer.
Would you mind if we bring a couple of chickens?

Thanks everybody.

Keith... the cases in France have been exploding for the last month. I can't post a graph but over three weeks the new cases per day has gone from under 10,000 to over 50,000, even with bars and restaurants closed after 8 pm. Like I said that is like 300,000 new cases a day in the states.

To my knowledge, the Swedes have the highest mortality rate in Europe so their plan didn't work out so well.

Zim... no problem. I'll keep my eyes to the sky for the two parachutes. Bring some 55 grain pills for my Swift and I'll clean up the hen house. The beer around here isn't too bad, but the brats suck, and Patrice can have all the Champagne she wants.

Thank God I can hunt out my front door and the local grocery store up there stayed well stocked and calm last time.

Pete

Swift, just out of curiosity, what is the hunting and trapping like in France?

Bob....

I get to hunt roe deer from July to end of February, archery or rifle and extra tags are cheap. I get to hunt and trap on 12 or 13,000 acres. Totally different system here but it works for me.

They eliminated the bounty on foxes so I hunt them more than trap these days.
