Just made my 3rd trip to Walmart since this mess started last spring. Headed straight to the sporting goods section to buy some cheap steel for backup on a upcoming trip. Shelves we’re almost bare. Ask what was going on and was told orders from headquarters. All ammo is to be put in the back because of the upcoming election and fear of looting and riots Really!!!! If they are doing that out here you guys back east better batten down the hatches. Good grief. I wasn’t paying close attention in high school kansas history class but I’m pretty sure the last major riots here were in the 1850-60’s

From what I've seen at my local walmart, they've got ammo, granted it is a little low in stock, but they've got it.
In all honesty though, it was a little bit lower when I left.... lol

Stopped into wal mart today. The gun racks were mt. I asked if they were not selling guns anymore and was told yes. We are just putting them away.

Yep same here. Hey I’d would have taken you up on the steel and brought you along and let you pay for the groceries It was only about 9 years ago that I spent $70 on food for the 3 days we are hunting birds. Took $207 today! All 4 of my boys are bottomless pits. Especially when we walk 7-10 miles a day after sharpies.

Doesn’t make sense to me to waste all the time and expensive labor to do that nation wide. I would think they would have just done it in the big cities and problem areas of the country but what do I know. Im just a dumb farmer

Thanks for the reminder to fill all my cans in the barn and vehicles. Normally this time of year I dont cycle through it very quickly and only keep a few full. Probably smart to fill them all. If nothing else the boys can burn it this winter checking traps on there 5 wheelers.
