The girl that cuts my hair tested negative on the nasal swab but her blood test was positive for antibodies, which column does she go in?

I'm not sold on that antibody testing

Was positive in the past. I work in long ter care that experienced a covid outbreak. It was awful but patients and staff who were positive test negative now but test positive for antibodies. You can test positive potentially for six weeks with nasal swab yet be beyond contagious stage. If you test positive for antibodies you have had covid. Hopefully you are immune now but who knows for sure.

If you stand still long enough someone will try to test you.

Oh, I’m being tested on a regular basis, believe that. It just ain’t for covid. lol

If you go in for a medical procedure, the hospital may require you to get tested. I think the test is probably quick & painless.

LOL, it would have to be for emergency care at this point in time my friend.

If you're in for surgery, you're getting pretested. At least at my hospital.

My wife and I both lost our sense of smell and taste Sunday night into Monday. We got tested even thought we pretty much knew we were positive. We got tested as our son is a deputy and they need to know.

Really simple process and results came overnight.

The positive cases around here are going up quickly. Hospitals are also seeing a increase. The good part is the death rates continue to be low compared to the positive case increase.

Here in NYS, Cuomo is requiring all students that are attending schools in the State University system to have CV19 tests before they leave for Thanksgiving break. I don't know what the consequences are for them if they say screw it and leave without being tested. Regardless, it'll be a small percentage, because most of them are programmed to follow what the govt tells them to do

Emergency rooms and hospitals in Wisconsin are nearing the point of being overwhelmed. Yet, when I drive past bars on my way to my cabin, their parking lots are full. The president shows up for a rally and few people are masked. Duhhhhh. At some point, masking and social distancing might catch on there but right now, I don’t see it happening. 210,000 cases and climbing. My own state of Minnesota is climbing too but not nearly as fast. We mask and try to social distance.

What’s more important than positive cases (to me) is the recovery rate. In Minnesota, it’s about 90%. In Wisconsin, it’s around 65%. Some of the southern states are about 40%.

We’ve very close to 9 million cases diagnosed. And 225,000 deaths. There’s plenty of blame to go around. But it’s not going to miraculously go away right after the election regardless of who the next president is.

Masking won't catch on because IT DOESN'T WORK! You can't find a study that contradicts this for respiratory viruses. In fact mask use is causing more cases and pneumonia.

H1N1. When it was around, over 60M Americans were infected. Not nearly as many COVID19 cases. The difference is this virus is many times more deadly, making the percentage of deaths much higher.

Even assuming they do work, nobody outside of ORs and exam rooms or clean room environments wear, handle or dispose of the masks properly. Cloth masks can't be properly cleaned in your washer and dryer. Theyre supposed to be changed when they get wet becayse they'll wick what was inside to the outside and vice versa. They're only good for about 15 minutes if you'e on high risk exposure areas, again assuming they work but they don't. Your breath and sneezes aren't contained by any mask that you can still smell odors from outside the mask.

Unless I never take a mask off, I could burn through two boxes of disposable masks a fat because I'm in and out of buildings and driving all day just at work.
