invest in a Freezer Alarm, so next time, you will hear the alarm and can act sooner. Never heard of that I must of posted this 2 dozen times over the years. You gotta pay attention Scott.

Sounds like you caught it in time. If it never got above 47 I wouldn’t worry about it.
I had a freezer go out once, with a deer cape, bunch of meat, fish I wanted mounted, etc. luckily it went out while I was on vacation for two weeks so everything smelled really nice when I got back. It was an upright too, so the thawing pushed the door open, and the flies made lots of babies in it.

I had a very similar thing happened to me earlier this year. It was about 45° inside when I realized what was happening. I got the freezer running again, everything re-froze and has since been eaten with no ill affects.
Eh...wot?

The re frozen food wont make you sick,but it will have a shorter shelf life in the freezer now,as far as taste and texture goes.I would try to use it up quicker now.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
