Would wild mice work well as bait? It would be easy to buy a few packages of mousetraps and set 8-12 at a time or so to get a batch of mice. I could process them somehow buy cutting them up or something. Besides that they are plentiful.

My mouse recipe
8 mice cut up fine and tainted for a day
3 tablespoons of bacon grease
1 table spoon of salmon oil
3-4 squirts of fox urine
And preserve it how ever you want

I'd say mice would be FIRE on the coyotes and fox.

I use mice a lot in dirt holes. I freeze them in summer. Use whole mouse in hole. It acts as bait & lure holder! Don't forget to cover with a bit of grass

Mice are a main food item for fox and coyotes. If you ever see one in a field, stop and watch them, in their quest for mice. It is a very entertaining show.

I use mouse nest's and they get the coyotes almost every time.

I find them in our chicken coop and barn laugh
