I know I've posted this before , but just a reminder and a public service.
If you have miscreants throw toilet paper in the trees , contact your local VOLUNTEER fire department. For a small 'donation' you can get them to come out and blast the toilet paper out of the trees with their hoses.
Good for you , getting the toilet paper cleared and not giving those who put it there the satisfaction of seeing it for days/weeks. Good for your local volunteer fire department , gaining some very needed funds (help us , help you) to flush their water tanks and use them as a bit of training for their members.
A win-win.

But the best Halloween stuff.....is when we’re were 17-21 years old...we all had “ Winter Pieces” ( junk cars we drove in the winter ,while our nice cars stayed off the road). Any way......we would go to Buckley’s Egg Express and buy 5-10 dozen eggs ....and throw them other friends winter piece cars as we drove around town. The last thing you wanted to do...was stop for gas....Cuz you would get covered by eggs.

il.trapper, I used to do almost the same thing as your boy. I had a scarecrow costume with a wide-brim hat, and a skull mask on underneath it. I'd stuff some straw in my cuffs and sit in a chair on the porch all loose-looking like a ragdoll scarecrow, with my head down and my old leather glove palm up on my knee with candy in it. I looked so much like a decoration that kids and adults would walk right by me or grab the candy in my hand without thinking. When I grabbed their hand and raised my head it sent them right off the porch
Boco couldn't catch a cold. But if he did, it would be Top Lot.
