Reading up on it again, 2.9 motors are notorious for condensation, dipstick tube an oil filler cap is good spot to see it, short trips to work, I bet that what it is, my ancient other Chevy pickup 2.5, never see it, what other motors are like this ? Newer gm motors I bet ... coonman i had a Colorado with the same issue... milky dipstick... oil was always fine when I changed it ... no big deal bud
Insert profound nonsense here

Anyhow problem solved, it was cap, new cap on an took drive. No little leak or seeping, must been o ring seals on old Cap that act up when took cap off. Never had cap go bad, plastic stuff nowadays, but it is rubber or kinda like rubber o ring, unfortunately happen late sunday, an 50 miles driving because it when done go store an warm up to see leak, so super tech is not good oil ? Been use it for over 2 years an fir long time other truck, what other good non synethic oil that not pricey recommend. I don't like prices change 3000, not get synethic

the supertech non synthetic is bottom of the list for oil quality , there are a number of tests out there you can find that do the comparison
i hear the synthetic is much better
however if you watch sales you can find better oil for a few dollars more farm and fleet has a sale on Citco full synthetic for 16.99 for 5 quart jug stock up when you find a sale
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
