Anyone else getting one? Season is upon us, I'm excited, and feeling good.

Just got a list this afternoon from farmers letting me know what fields have been cut and bush hogged.

Getting there bud. Deer camp for a week and a bit. Take care of some problem beavers in the area. Its always my workout for the season as I hike in to places that ATVs cannot get to. Little beaver trapping and hunting. Gives me new respect every year for the guys that did it on foot. Nothing like hiking a 40 pound beaver out on your back for 10 dollars

Lets me start my bait piles though and get set up for snaring. Usually the weather is cold enough that I'm not worried about anything spoiling but this year the weather forecast is warm. Might have to flesh and board at the camp.

Have my token bear trap out for my daughter who is 5 and is patiently waiting for "her" bear! Have some action around it and the plus side to the warm weather is they will be out.

I get the trapping "itch" bad once frost starts showing up and have to restrain myself till fur primes up nicely. I'm thinking fox will be good soon

Our trapping season started Nov. 1. I got so excited about it, I posted a Semi-Live Trapping Season thread on a hunting forum I'm on. I'm a very new trapper and this is only my second season trapping. I'm posting pictures of my sets and updating the thread with how things are going. More experienced trappers are giving me tips on how to do my sets better. It's awesome!

I'm mostly trapping on public land and I have one private land opportunity on a small farm to trap coons and possums to help the farmer with quail management. It's my first private land trapping opportunity ever and it starts this weekend. I just hope it goes well!

Yes! Discovered some beaver had the creek on the back of the home farm backed up into grazing fields and pasture.
