Mine are pretty simple. Knee replacement on the 18th so most likely will not set a trap this year. Looks like Illinois possum numbers will explode. If it’s going to be difficult to trap this looks like it might not be a bad year for the traps to hang in the shed. Was thinking about setting a few opening day 10th but weather has been way too warm and COVID test and quarantine starting the 13th just doesn’t leave much time.

Mine are simple. Have a good time and set traps!

Trapping is what built North America, why take that away?

My goal is for me and my boys to have fun and have some adventures as one of my 9 year old twins says. And I want to try to get my wife involved in trapping also.

Run under 10 traps for bobcat and coyote, hope not to catch a possum (and unfortunately coon), trap as long as it is not muddy or deep snow.

Being furloughed I've got the time and space to lengthen our line, but it looks like prices will be so low I'd likely lose $. So we'll sit this one out, I guess.

Take my oldest grandson out and let him make some coon sets on his own (keep the farmers happy) and he wants to catch a coyote. He just called the other day and asked if we could go on his Thanksgiving break. He's 7.

Now that sounds like a season to look forward too! I'll bet he will remember this Thanksgiving break for the rest of his life.

I plan to go at it like it’s just another year, try and catch as many coyotes as I can and thin down the nest raiding coons and possums spend a week with my dad trapping and get my wife and kids to tag along a few days. Should be lots of fun

Same. My dogs really coming into her prime and its more fun to me right now. Except will get out about 15-20 coyote sets within 8-10 miles of home.

Catch all I can. I have even thought about taking a guest or two on the line this year.

I think I’m going all out this year! Looks like im going to have plenty of time on my hands. I got 3 new farms this year to run not including my other 2 I always trap. My son caught his first coyote on his own last year at the end of season so that’s all he’s been talking about. We’re ready just waiting for Christmas break to get started

Hitting coyotes harder, keep the coon population in check while we are at it, more walking than driving to stay in shape, skinning everything, running some cat and mink sets on side, and having a lot of good wholesome outdoor fun with my sons.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Have some beaver to catch for some folks. Going to kill a few coyotes to thin the population. Also plan to do a lot more crappie and sauger fishing this winter.
