Well I was thinking more along the lines of trying to have a positive conversation about the error of their ways and the harm they cause to others.

Bu your suggestion may be more effective and result in a better general deterrent.

Medical doctors have a terrible track record when it comes to "investing" in various crazy schemes. Doesn't quite figure, but it is an interesting phenomenon.
