I would like you guys and gals to submit your preferred methods and cleaners you use to clean those dirty coyotes. Want them to really shine and fluff up.
I have used Suave coconut shampoo after a couple of cold water rinses. I do this after skinning but before fleshing. Have pretty good results but think there might be something better.
They seem to flesh better after wash and shampoo.
Thank you in advance.

Go to the farm store and get some Mane and Tail. It's for show horses, makes them shine.

Get the two in one types. VO5 has a cheap 2 in one shampoo/conditioner that has produced some of the pretties coyotes I've seen posted on here.

I don’t know if it really matters as to what detergent is used to wash coyotes. Have tried many combinations but always come back to a laundry detergent for the actual washing. I have always had better outcomes by doing the fleshing and hide repair before the wash/rinse. After awhile everyone figures out what suits them. However it’s never too late to try something else and compare the results.

Dog shampoo with cleaner, detangler, and conditioner. This is what I use.

Dawn dish soap here, sometimes a cheap baby shampoo. Dollar general.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I use baby shampoo but I haven't really tried much else so I don't know what might be just as cheap or better. But I'm pretty happy with the results with using baby shampoo.

Whatever works. I doubt it makes much difference in the end. Plain ol' cold water would probably get you just as much money for your pelts, I imagine.

I have ugly eastern yotes, and you can't make a silk purse from a pig's ear

Woolite.

If especially dirty and bloody, Dawn dish soap then Woolite.

Then rubbed with dry borax right before they get sold.

They are still ugly and brown when I'm done with them.
