I am curious if the high prices and lack of inventory that I am seeing here in the states is happening all over. Are our neighbors to the north experiencing simmilar or are your prices still down and shelves full of things like 22lr and 5.56/223?

I am told .270 is in short supply locally. No shortage of .22lr that I have seen.
I am sure that .223 is a bit scarce too but I don't own one and haven't looked

Are the prices normal, or are they inflated?
Most everything including shotshells are hard to find here. I do think 270 was one of the few rifle cartridges left on the shelf at the local walmart today.

30-06 and 270 are about the only thing you have been able to find here
if I didn't reload for 30-06 I would have been buying a box every trip to to the store

any shot larger than 7 1/2 is scarce here when ever I saw a box of 4 or 5 over the summer I bought it I hope it is enough for pheasant hunting

Prices seem to be normal as far as I can tell.
Normally it's pistol calibers and the "scary calibers" like 7.62x39 that come scarce here or are price fluctuations

prices are about normal, i got some federal 223 fmj ammo for a steal at 45 bucks per 100 rounds last week.

I was in town yesterday looking for reloading components and ammo. Canadian Tire was almost totally sold out of everything. I got the last 3 boxes of 308 ammo they had left. Couldnt get any 4895, sold out.
