My wife used to get a flu shot every year and every year she still got the flu. When she questioned why she still got the flu? Doctor said it was a different strain than the flu shot was. She stopped getting the flu shot about 5 years ago and hasn't had the flu since.
I have never gotten a flu shot. I don't remember the last time I've gotten the flu, has to be at least 30 years. That was before I was married. I think it might have been brought on from mixing too much beer and wine.
Neither my wife or I will get the virus shot.
I would add to what Yes Sir said: I believe I will appear once more in a new and more elegant edition that has been corrected and improved by its author.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

I have an in-law who is a total failure. Never had anything, can’t keep a job, been to prison twice for stealing to buy drugs. He has never been in charge of anything. Says he doesn’t have to take any vaccine or do what anyone says he ought to do. He is his own man.
He must have influenced a lot of people somehow.

Im ready to take it. Had enough of this stuff. If some of you guys were married to a nurse who has to fight this stuff everyday you might change your mind. Most people that reject the virus as fake or not that bad, usually dont work and are hiding in a bunker away from the front lines. You want to see some heros, go where the action is and watch those medical folks as they battle each day. All the talk about how the virus is fake is just spit in the eyes of our health care workers. I have a cousin who is a doctor. Guess your nurse wife knows better. She should be a doctor.

When my daughter had COVID, her doctor told her the best thing we could do was to just spread it around and get it over with. Calling any nurse a hero unless they actually do something heroic, is a bit of a stretch I don't care how bad the virus is. They are just doing their job and should do it well; they are paid well. Sometimes the job is easy, other times it's more difficult. Suck it up you'll get through it. I think one of the biggest problems we have is that the media and politics has turned this into such a scare and put people into a panic that tens of thousands of people are going to the hospital and ER with it that have no business being there. It's the FLU! Yes it's a bad one, but seriously, It's the FLU! Everyone I know that's had it would agree with me.
