She makes a mold to make this. She made a mold of her hand. If you could look at the skull you would think it was real. She has also done a roe deer and antelope. Skull they look like real skull down to the fins in the nasal passage. The skull is hollow also.

Doing something like this with glass is a pretty complex thing. I bet that these pieces were in the kiln 7-8 days heating up slow between 1500 and 2000 degrees and cooling slow to aneil. If you cast this and just shut it off, chances are it would break within a few hours. Glass can be fine and if not aneilled right can bust up to months later. It is way more then dump a slushy in a mold and cooking it. It is not a fast process. I be she worked on these two pieces for months. She was asking me about barrowing a rifle to cast to set net to the skull about a year ago.
