Has anyone heard of using produce bags (the ones in the veggie isle in grocery stores) to put traps in to prevent freezing in the winter as well as under the snow?

Seems to me they would be pretty crackly when it's cold. Might be worth a try to see if it works.

Ive read about guys doing it plenty of times.
Sammich bags as well. May come up in a search here.
Our last couple winters have been 2 feet of snow to
mud in days, otherwise id have more experience to share.
Calling for heavy snow this year so maybe ill be able to try
off the back of the sled.

I used them while land trapping and they worked very well! The produce ones are very thin and the least noisy.

They work great in snow and are perfectly sized for a #9 Alaskan . I have tried everything and keep coming back to produce bags or white plastic grocery bags. Have only used them in snow.

Banana sacks work good
