Maybe if democrat governors wouldn't have seeded nursing homes with Covid-positive people those elderly death rates wouldn't be so bad?

They have lots of liberal folks in power who, like liberals in this Country, are taking full advantage of this "crises."

But the economist is probably correct, I hear that Covid is much more deadly in Europe...

How about putting things in perspective Dirt ?? Over 600,000 Americans die every single year from CVD. The cause is directly related to the SAD that the FDA pushes. Why doesnt the left talk about it?? Have a look at these numbers.

It is a shame that the shutdown is in large part because people are unwilling to be safe. Some complain about simply wearing a mask and the economic impact of shut down and don’t take responsibility of spreading the virus and causing the shut down.

All my target bucks are on lockdown right now. It’s the only part of the rut that I hate.

Apparently nobody is enforcing a lockdown in Washington, DC. They are showing a pro-Trump rally with hordes of people. No looting.

Overweight out of shape Trump beat it and so did everyone in the Whitehouse. My overweight sister almost 70 in a nursing home beat it with mild symptoms.

I say anyone that wants to close their business/work and go into lock down, can go right ahead. I will continue on with my life.

Already voluntarily locked down at the farm. I didn't want to go back to work anyway.

Now I just need my sons' wrestling coach to cancel practice (unfortunately that will never happen) and we'll just hunt for the next month.

If this is correct sounds like they're trying to wipe out the last of the baby boomers and the majority of those influences (for the good) by them.

Barely over 10 % for people over 70 who get infected, hardly sounds like a plan to get boomers to die faster.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

2nd problem with this theory is:

"The generation is generally defined as people born from 1946 to 1964, during the post–World War II baby boom." 2020-1946 equals 74. That would be the oldest boomers.

Can you tell me why Nancy Pelosi was on camera during a lockdown at a beauty parlor not wearing a mask? Doesn't she care about people or is it because she doesn't believe masks work and are therefore useless.

After all this time, you think that's the reason for the shutdown? Smdh.

I've told this before, but for those who haven't heard the story...

my 82 year old aunt got it early (April). She is in an assisted living facility (THANKS, Gov. Wolf!). She is obese; with diabetes and kidney issues.

she was very sick for several weeks, but she survived (hospitalized, but never on a ventilator).
