found an old jar of red fox glands I'd been collecting...haven't cracked it open yet, but noticed some mold on top of the rotted gland. the mold doesn't cover the entire surface (maybe 1/8th of the surface)...is it ruined?

I would use a spoon and remove it the best you can and use it.
