looking to buy a battery booster or portable jumper any suggestions wanting one that will hold a charge for more than a month? What do the tow truck guys carry on board for battery boost.

I bought the best one at Wal mart...around 100bucks
Charge lasts until I used it to jump about 3 months later

I had one not sure if the same one from wally world and wont keep a charge more than a week took it back I guess I will keep looking. Sucks when you need it and its dead.

A tad more money than a booster is a super capacitor starter. No charging/maintaining a charge. You hook it up to say a battery with 8 volts in it , it builds up the capacitor to 12 volts in about a min or so , then releases it all at once.

No maintenance , you could have it in your trunk for years ,then just pull it out and use it.

This looks interesting a lot smaller also and would be handy for ATV

A bit spendy for some of them. BUT , unlike a battery pack , they have a MUCH longer lifespan. The one in the video has a 10 year warranty. Bet it lasts a lot longer like 20-30 years. There is very little to go wrong with a capacitor. You could buy several battery packs in its lifetime.

Plus it has zero maintenance.
