Eventually we'll be hit with a Coronal mass ejection. We're overdue as I understand it. There was a big on in 1859 that wrought havoc with telegraph systems. There was a small one in 1989 that blacked out the entire province of Quebec plus some other locations. It destroyed the Salem New Jersey Nuclear Plant GSU Transformer. Sooner or later it's coming one way or another.

Has anyone here done things to harden their vechiles?

I've took mine out for diner and a show and it didn't get hard at all.
But it does get hard when I drive it to the woods or water.

One thing is to have something that runs on points instead of a brain box, if it has a magneto even better so you dont have to rely on a battery to start it. On a lighter note you could put a big belt drive pulley on it and have a steam engine to crank it over.

In the other thread, I kept harking on the symbiotic relationship between urban and rural areas. If an EMP happens that relationship is gone.

To answer your original question. Trump told them a while back that they would not be happy with the echo that would follow. So now they are kicking cans down the road and are waiting for Americas "attitude" to change ...... You can figure the rest out yourself .

Just last month it was reported that NORKs weapons program has continued as is. No deal was ever reached in 2017. Not sure why our media hasn't covered it but they even blew up the liaison office on the border. North Korea is as big of a threat today as it was in 2017.
