It snowed a bit last night, it's so beautiful. I also caught my 2nd coyote, another nice male!

When I skinned that guy I think I cut his front legs too short, and make a small nick on one of them. Will this be a big deal?

Cutting the front legs short is acceptable for the garment trade.Knicks/small holes near the extremities wont matter either. However it will limit your options for other markets.Certain styles of mountain man hats requires long front and back legs,as do some styles of wall hanger applications(rug style).

Caught another 'yote yesterday! Today I had a dug-up trap. And another set stepped on by what I think is a fox.

You are doing a great job on the trapping and the preparations, which is most impressive with todays youth. I am also very impressed with your photography skills. Are you using a phone or a camera for your photogs?
Keep up the great work and attention to details... that's what separates the the "Want-to-be's" from the real thing.
