Here are a few pics of my younger brother and I from Feb 85 Trapper and Predator Caller “School Days” The pics are actually from 81-82 season. Won a dozen # 1 Northwoods coil springs for the article. I remember that being the first time I had ever owned a dozen of anything trapping related. LOL

Some prime fur from the 79/80 season. Mink brought $32.00 and beaver was at $1.00 an inch so right at $65.00. Miss those days!

Chris

As soon as I saw that hat and hair style then the panelling behind you I knew we were of the same vintage, lol.

I miss those days!

Chris

Early trapping memories, in the early spring of 1980 at 17 yrs old targeting beaver for the first time and after catching a couple disappointing small beaver through the ice I connected on a huge hog. I drove straight to the front window of the local grocery store where my girlfriend's mother worked, got her attention, jumped in the back of my truck and lifted it up to show her. Her face lit up and she gave me a big thumbs up. Saint of a woman, don't make them like her anymore.
