Fixed it for you. You are welcome SE Nebraska. Jim

I think the actual triangle is bit larger than your map...

I think the actual triangle is bit larger than your map... Sure isn’t near Delmarva, the best peninsula in all the land by the way.

I would agree with that map, but I would extend it southward a bit along the Mississippi river to at least Galesburg Illinois. I used to buy some beautiful coon from Ralph Coffee in Galesburg Illinois; But I guess I don't really know where he got them.

I am in the SE corner of the illustrated triangle, but some of my best coons were graded Canadian.

I'm going to stick my neck out a bit and say that coon color is more important than heaviness. I don't know what the market wants now, but from previous experience I've noticed that a good colored coon -maybe and A or B color- from a more southerly location is more desirable than a yellow coon from a northern area.

Depends on what you are talking about,Heaviest is Canadian (X hvy section).Limited use because they are too hvy(wooly).large size. Best colour is from Iowa in the hvy section(best coon overall for trim and garment use) also large size.

I know everyone talks about the triangle but imo northeast Nebraska up along the James River in south Dakota are better. And yes I’ve seen coon from both areas.
