It will be Thanksgiving gathering dinner and with extended family same as any other year. Around two dozen people.

It would be a hoot for someone to try and stop us.

Our local Sheriffs Dept.Made a public announcement.Dont call us on Thanksgiving to rat that your neighbor has more than ten people at Dinner.We will not respond to that. LOL I give them credit for that.

I had a nice outdoor dinner planned for the extended family. Lots of activities and food, somewhat mirroring that of the very first in 1621.

Nobody is going to stop me, I figured.

Then the wife tested positive.....I'll be tested on Monday, but, in good conscience, won't be able to go through with it, regardless of test results.

Then again, maybe, I can even expand it two weeks later. Weather would be the deciding factor, there.

You are choosing to show up as well as the rest that will show up. I don't know how that's wrong, even if folks do call me selfish. Not a single breath I take is guaranteed. Unfortunately, our family Thanksgiving hosts have cancelled. If I didn't work retail and have to work every day except Monday, I would host Thanksgiving and invite all of the family. If they didn't come, I would understand, but I can't live my life in fear. I respect those who choose to do so, but don't drag me down with you.

Hard telling. Headaches, muscle aches, fatigue and cough. No breathing issues so far.

She can't get in to a Doctor until Monday, So not even any treatment yet.

The medical profession is really taking this "pandemic" seriously I can't wait for the new administration to straighten that all out. Yeah, sure. We are all screwed.

We are taking some precautions. Anybody, sick, sneezing or coughing is to stay away. I also no longer hug relatives and don’t place my hands on my face unless I wash my hands thoroughly. At my age especially, I don’t want Covid but I am not going to stop living either.

My Gramps was a violator too. I guess it runs deep in our family. Gramm too for that matter, maybe more than him.
