Day started out fine but didn’t end well. Checked on the chickens and found one dead. I think a hawk somehow nailed one in the pen. So got rid of that and went back to feed them; slipped on the wet boardwalk. Did the splits and I’ve never been able to do the splits. Just sorta of rolled over and wow this really hurts.
Then went to check some rat traps I had set in the morning. Stepped in the water and realized I had torn my not even one year old muck boot. Climbing the ditch bank was not enjoyable either. Not sure what I did but my leg is numb. Plan to set traps this week and might be kinda slow going

I hear you, set a couple beaver traps lost one hearing aid and tore a brand new boot caught 2 so far so if i get $1,035.00 per beaver i'll break even

I feel your pain. Last week kinda sucked. Everything I touched seemed to fall apart. Hope you have better luck tomorrow
