Anyone use one for digging trap beds and dirt holes in frozen ground? Or, have any better ideas than a Mattock or heavy heavy for digging in frozen rock/gravel pit.

Funny you posted this. I just bought a 18 volt Milwaukee to put some dirt holes in with today. Guy at Home Depot looked at me like I was crazy when he asked and I told him what I was gonna use it for. He asked and I ain't crazy. Just don't call me Shirley.

I've used one for 3 years. Best money I ever spent and can't imagine trapping in this part of the world without one. Have a chisel for trap beds, a 1in bit for predrilling earth anchors, a dirtholes auger and a ground rod driver for driving superstakes. The big batteries last an amazing long time.

Yes. Milwaukee. Just seconds to knock in a trap bed.
A battery Sawzall is also on the machine for fast quiet trail clearing.
