Ive killed dozens of deer with my Rem Model 7 .243. Have used the Win 95 grain ballistic tips. Put it right in the shoulder...

Do your part, and they will do theirs. This is what most people seem to neglect, I feel.

Lead/ alloy core. No partition to stop expansion and keep pushing. If this 95gr. Bullet had a fused jacket to the core. It would be better. But it Dosent. Large ballistic tip. Designed for fast trauma and large wound Chanel. If ... you use these on deer. shot placement will be critical. There are much better choices out there.

Ive been using 243 since 1968, never lost a deer . Head of neck shot down. Heart or lung shot a few yards... Take ones time and squeeze ! Never used more than one shot.
