I keep breaking my spypoints. Stupid stuff that is my fault, and they are kind of a pain in the butt, but they do work well when you have it all figured out.

Same question I think. Laid up with a knee replacement for a while so no plodding through woods for a while. Looking for a game cam I can put on a brush pile about 150 yards from my house that will send the pictures to my phone and not cost a fortune in data fees. Any ideas or recommendations?

Spypoint micro. 100 bucks, has default plan for free, unlimited pics for 10 bucks a month, I have both lte and Verizon and both have worked anywhere I used them. Not one single issue with any of mine as long as you update when available. Just check the site to see current version, download to card, and it does the rest when you put in the card. I was told it was the only one with free plan(30 pics or so a month I think) but I’m not sure about that.

When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.

Had older Spartans, worked great, still tried a bunch of Spypoint Link-S's when they were on sale, all crap.....luckily bought from Trailcampro.com and they fixed it.

Ended up getting 4 more Spartans (not Spartan Ghosts) and we are back in business.

Spartan HACK: you can get an AT&T or Verizon prepaid card and put that into the cam and bypass Spartan's payment plan which is far more expensive. I use AT&T Buyasession to add data to my cams.

Several guys at work are using tactacam. They say it's the easiest to use and get set up. The pictures I have seen are great. It what I plan on getting if the get back instock. Great for deer hunting , would love to put out to watch some coyote sets so I can learn, and great for remote security monitoring in the off season.
