Timothy OP trapper T Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 325 wyoming/ILLINOIS	My son is stationed in Fort Drum N.Y. and is looking for trapping help getting his first fisher and possibly marten. He can have traps after the Christmas block leave. If anyone is near or interested in helping mentor him it would mean the world to us. Yes he is an Infantry specialist with the 10th Mtn. Div.... My name is Tim and his Alex. Been alongggg time since I visited trapperman as I quit trapping when I lost my trapping partner he is working for uncle Sam now. Any questions please just ask. Thank You a very proud father of a soldier in the 10th Mountain Div.

Squash trapper S Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 2,466 Tug Hill, NY	Winona State Forest on Tug Hill, just south of Watertown would be a good place to catch fisher. Tug Hill is over run with them dam things. He will have to trap inside the Blue Line in the ADKs for Marten. Be sure he gets the Fisher/Marten permit from Region 6 DEC office in Watertown, on top of his trapping license. 2020 season closes for fisher in that area 12/10, and for Marten 11/30.
