Off our grandson Cameron (he's 11) goes to the deer stand, loaded for a day afield.
And of course, his 2 year old sister Kynlee is ready for action also.

We have a no video rule at grandma and grandpas house because we're meanies in this household.

Only way I can keep the chatterbox remotely quiet lol. When deer are present he's all attention.

More exciting watching my grandson shoot his moose the last two years than any I ever shot! He's 12 now one shot both years with the 25-06 I bought for the grandkids to use. I'll have another grandson within the next 24 hours! That'll make 5 I get to teach how to shoot their moose. Feeling blessed!

Now that is how to raise a grandchild right there! Moose hunting.

Don't know about Kynlee, but I'll tell you Cameron is like his papa! The boy is all things outdoors. A-Z.
And he has trapped for a few years of course. Considers raccoons "easy" with his DPs. Considers bobcats the most fun to catch.
He's a young German lad with no quit in him.

Well they have a good teacher. Even though my father is not a trapper he taught me how to read sign and that put me ahead of the game when I started setting steel.
