Not sure where you found this list but it looks more like one of most expensive places as far as purchasing a home

I'm guessing this is where you got the list (or a copy of this article). https://www.homesnacks.com/most-affordable-places-in-alaska/

That list is meaningless. Most of those are remote villages with very high shipping for commodities and very little economy. Then there's Palmer, North Pole, Valdez and Seward... I can't figure out what they might have used to compile that list. Availability of SOME cheap land maybe? They might have just picked some random communities. Just like the rest of the article, it's just worthless clickbait drivel IMO.

NY taxes keep going up. Looking to move after the Covid-19 pandemic is over, and the economy gets going again.
