I got my last one from a breeder in northern Missouri/southern Iowa just north of Swan Lake National waterfowl refuge. He was a very good retriever. Great lineage. Super great dog. He’s been gone for a couple years. Not sure of the breeder name but if you would like I could have my wife look up his papers and get you a name. Not sure if he is still in the business. If he was I might just buy another. I’ve had three Chesapeake’s.

I’ll get back to you on this. My uncle has always had chessies. Last two came from same breeder, and have been great dogs. I’ll get name tomorrow

I'll check and see If the breeder I bought mine from Is still around. Probably the best dog I ever owned.
