Thank you for posting this. It looks like you've done well in trapping as well as life. If I recall correctly, you got a scholarship from the NTA or FTA. I could be wrong though, my memory is weak these days.

Super testimony Dylan.
Your fruit of the Spirit is evident brother.
May the Lord continue to shine His Face upon you and bless you.

[i]But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

This is one of my favorite parts of the New Testament. It's so clear and straight forward. Just walk in spirit. How do you know if you are walking by the spirit? By the fruit you are producing.

Thank you Mark

Thank you Paul. You're not far off. I did apply for one with the help of the people on here. I just didn't get selected but that's ok. You can't win em all.

It's an Island south of Juneau and just north of Ketchikan. You going to fly out?

It really makes me happy to hear that. After spending time in the Middle East, I've learned that hope is the best thing you can give away.

One of my professors Joel Reemstma is from Kenia and he and I have been talking about ministry opportunities in the bush country of your state.
Donna and I love AK and plan to spend time annually there soon as I finish here in another couple years.
In fact, Donna says she's treating me to several months (Lord willing) in AK after I graduate. She's a gold mining guru that one. She knows a family in Fairbanks who has a number of producing claims so who knows. She's just lucky in my opinion but you put her onto looking for sheds and she'll drag out a matching set of 190 class.
I just look pretty.

Blessings to you Dylan!
Mark

If you are looking to join an org that is already doing that then you should check out https://www.kingdomaircorps.org. One of my good friends keeps all their planes going to reach the villages. If you want to start your own thing there is a lots of opportunity in the state and on these islands.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you Dylan!
I'll be doing short term ministry kingdom work, helping, training, teaching, etc. We love to travel and my heart is really in helping in the hospice arena. Doors open on His schedule as you know. We have Panama with a ministry doc friend of mine on the horizon once Covid lets up a bit, but AK is in our sights. Great land. Great people. Land of churches and bars as you know.

Thanks again for the link.
I keep them all.
Blessings,
Mark

Congratulations Dylan on having faith and making your dreams happen! Good too see a hard working young man, your somewhat of a rarity these days.

I think those last photos are probably the most important. Bless you and all you touch in your outreach!!

Did you win one from the IL assn? Like Paul I swore I remembered you winning something, lol.

What I KNOW I remember though is you packing a kid that couldn't walk on your back to check beaver traps when you were just a kid yourself and I knew then that you were good people.

I liked reading the update and seeing you're still doing well and that trapping is still a part of your life. smile

Wow, pretty cool Dylan. What a great adventure life can be when you are living it for the right reason.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
