Im still new to taxidermy but my first bobcat mount looks 10x better in the face than that does. I would be PO’d too for sure! Careful T-REV. You have a very long ways to go before you can say your bobcats are 10x better than anyone’s. Lots of people were being nice to you with your mount.

Am I the only one that can't see the pictures? No I don't know what happened to the pics. They disappeared. He did get his CITES tag back but they just hand it to you with the mount. She took the cat with the temporary paper permit and it wouldn't be difficult to switch tags.

I see them now. Looks like it was more liked farmed out to a thirteen year old.
This happened to a friend of my dads. He caught a nice big dark otter and decided to have it mounted. Some time later he stopped by dads on his way home from picking up his otter. Dad told him right away that wasn't the same otter. It was smaller, paler and badly singed. His friend didn't want to believe it. Surely they wouldn't do that. Later he called dad and told him he was right. He remembered his otter had two missing toes from a back foot. The one he got back had all its toes.
I myself was taken by a taxidermist. It was a red fox. I don't think he switched but the job was as bad as the cat above. Funny thing was, the animals in his studio ( including fox) looked nice. I think he must have bought those because my fox looked like crap run over. To add insult to injury it wasn't even preserved good as all the fur fell out within a year. Now here is a real funny twist. A couple of years later I see this joker is president of the Arkansas taxidermy association.
