Ammunition that is? I understand 5 million new gun owners and they all need a box or two.
Great with me, practice up, that is sure enough important.
I've been pretty well sighted in for the last 50 years , just wondering about the empty shelves.

well like the 22lr shortage where every one need a brick or two. even if they had never had more than 200 rounds in their life before.

also I think 5 million was only using up to July data as it was published in August Aug, Sept , Oct , Nov ammo didn't look Really really bad till the week before deer season.

a lot of those guns bought were 9mm handguns and they need 500+ rounds

remember Rioters were the motivation for many of these people to make their purchases.

shogun Joe may have motivated a few. who knows can't find hardly any shotguns either.

if they could lay off on the #4 shot I would appreciate it the boy got into pheasant hunting and I only had a few boxes of #4 set aside

Remember once you see empty shelves if you see a box of your caliber in your bullet weight , your going to buy it

even at 2 boxes per person max they can't keep ammo on the shelf more than minutes

I don’t need more ammo, I want more ammo, lol.
Looking for Hornady Precision Hunter 178gr in .308 and 150gr in 7mm-08 if anyone hears of any. Got my email on about a dozen websites to be notified when it comes available.

Jerry, had a buddy of mine that had a Ruger No.1 in 7mm STW. I shot it once, a box of shells would last me 20 years.

LOL Zim

I’m considering getting a couple of boxes it’s getting tough to find even before the last rush.

It is funny Pete that now the only calibers you can find ammo for are the ones you could never find ammo for,

crazy Zim

Shot shells are about the only thing available here at Bass Pro. The shelves in the bullet isle had 2 boxes of Hornady .45 cal bullets and 6 boxes of Nosler ABs for .338. Not much call for a .338 east of the Mississippi. Hardly any reloading dies either. It really doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, I need some different .308 ammo. I only have one box of PSP and wanted something better for hunting. Nothing available.

that is where my opinion differs it makes total sense , a spring and summer of riots with violent looting , arson , and vandalism.
911 calls answered with you are on your own.
a presidential election with a candidate that is shouting were going to take your AR-14s and your AK-57s HECK Yeah were coming for your guns.

my boss and another coworker in early September were asking me where they could pick up handguns neither has had any use for a gun at all since they left home in NE Wisconsin to come work near Madison 25 years ago. back then it was a 30-30 for deer hunting.

people are scared

they see buying a gun as a good idea , then more people say hey maybe there on to something and the ball gets rolling and when the first shelf looks kinda empty hey we should get some of that before it's out and next thing you know it is out.

people who never saw a need for a gun before were buying then

60% increase over nearly every months sales last year

that couple on TV with the AR and the little silver pistol probably sold a million gun by being on TV

Posted last week about our sporting good store being empty. Asked about home defense shotgun and the only two they had were high end in the $1000 plus range. They do have a full line of trapping supplies there however. A little overpriced but at least available in a pinch. Doubt if I ever see a time the trapping supply shelves are empty.

maybe if coon started paying $20 for an XL but I don't see that happening unless we head into another ice age
