there was a very nice article in the trappers post a few year back about it
not legal here other than for land owners as squirrel trapping is Illegal in WI so I never tried it
2x4 stud secured to a tree at a 45* angle with nails to hold the 110 on the narrow edge of the 2x4 , fabric wrapped like a strip of burlap on the trigger wires and smeared a peanut butter or other nut paste or nut based squirrel bait is what I recall
the narrow edge and angle got a good neck hit nearly every time with the 110 or 120
keeping the trap above 5 foot kept non target out of them like small dogs that could get their head in a 110
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I just drilled a wall nut out of the husk and slipped it over the trigger and secure the trap to the tree. This was years ago.

Thanks guys! I’m thinking I may try balled up bread with peanut butter also maybe corn they love corn! What notch do you set it on?

Hunk of corn cob with corn on the trigger. Anchor well if coon around. Staple in tree works well for me
