The same mailbox cubbies you use on you line also work in this situation. 120s stabilize really nice.

Find a hi bank trail and set it for mink. You will catch every squirrel in the neighbor hood and never catch a mink. It's just like making your best yote sets ever. You will catch every grinner in the neighbor hood and never catch a yote.

I used to just drill a hole in a big rat trap and nail it to a crossing branch, baited it with peanut butter. Won't work on his fox squirrels though. They just get too big I wS trapping a nuisance city job on a roof that way for red-piney squirrels ...along came Mr. GREY The homeowner called me, come quick there's a grey squirrel flopping around the yard with a rat trap on its head.

I never trapped any tree squirrels but tried all sorts of stuff for Franklin ground squirrels. I tried baited 110 triggers, rat traps set on the ground and on a lath, boxes and who know what else. What worked the best for me by far was a 1 1/2 LS Victor with the cut out V. I put my bait on the bottom of the pan coming up through the V. You get a head or neck catch. It was 100% when sprung. Baited triggers were less than 75% and rat traps about 25%. I tried fencing the rat traps thinking they were climbing over it. Maybe tree squirrels are easier to catch.
