It's sad to see a group of otherwise intelligent rational and mostly like-minded folks put person before policy. We all know that the bumpstock ban was wrong and set a bad precedent, we all know he shouldn't have said take the guns first and give due process second, we all know he shouldn't have mentioned taking away silencers, and we all know it's wrong to let his BATFE get away with this while he's still in control. But finding a trump supporter who's able to admit any of that is as rare as hens teeth. Trump is obviously way better than Hillary would have been or than Biden will be on the 2a, anyone who thinks otherwise is a doofus. But that doesn't mean he's been awesome for the 2a either, and we all know it.

We already have Comey, Struck, Paige, et al all executive branch employees in active illegal conspiracy against their CINC.
We have Barr on record as saying he has no control over the Justice Dept, another executive branch department.
Most recently we have senior DOD employees and Generals bragging about lying to the CINC in order to disobey his orders.

I know, I know fire the lot of them but what if they refuse to go? Or no one in the whole dam town backs his call?
