As a long time Packer fan but not as far back as Curly Lambeau but back to the 60s and Bart Starr. I was there during the tough times as well, back when the Packer starting Quarterback the next year was the Green Bay TV weatherman. [Don't ask me his name that was a One N Done quarterback.] Back when the Cheesehead hats with made of foam rubber and not Styrofoam. A fan long before Brett Farve and Aaron Rogers. But remember I live in Idaho and have never seen a game played while I was at Lambeau field, so I can give you a totally unbias opinion. LOL
I don't think this year they are as good as a few other NFL teams. There receivers drop way too many balls, the wide receivers can't seem to get any real separation, their defense can't stop the run and get picked apart if the opposing quarterback has much time to throw and the offensive line needs to give Rogers more time to find receivers. With that said if you think the best team for any year always wins the Super Bowl. either you have not spent a great deal of time watching the play off games or Super Bowls. Most not just many if a play or a call would have been different it is likely that a different team would have been in the Super Bowl or would have won it. But if you are only concerned about the final score of the Super Bowl then that is the best team of the year. If that is your criteria then the Packers may be the best team. They also may be ONE N Done or they COULD GO ALL THE WAY.
