Anyone use them? It would be for the garage, but wondering about the fuel fumes. Welcome to alternatives as well. Thanks.

I have one and have used it indoors. Fumes not really an issue but it does create water vapor

How long did you use it indoors? What kind of ventilation did you have? My uncle ran one in his cabin but it's been so many years would prefer some updated knowledge. Do I have to watch out for carbon dioxide poisoning?

Carbon Monoxide and yes it is a concern -- propane is better than diesel or kerosene but still an issue with either one.

Propane. I have one, use it to warm up garage. Still have a wood stove but takes a long time to get warm. 20 min and my 24 x30 garage is warm.

They are proud of them but I bought a val6. It burns very clean and I have ran it indoors for hours on end - no fumes and headache like I’ve always dealt with when using those torpedo units. It is also much quieter than the torpedo units I have been around.

I have powered it with one of those little Honda backpack generators many times outdoors as well for various activities and projects. I wish I would have bought it years ago

You could blast it untill warm , then turn off while you work . Run an electric heater to help maintain the heat

I run mine long enough to heat up the shed then shut it off I just need it warm enough so my fingers arnt freezing while I'm skinning. The "fur shed" is also pretty drafty so that helps with carbon

Mine is 180,000 BTUs. Has a thermostat. I put it on 38° F. Barn is drafty but warms it up enough to put up fur and not have freezing fingers. I don't like it too warm when working. Everything stays dry. They are noisy though. If your fur shed is sealed tight just make sure you open a window a little crack for ventilation

I love my val6. It was spendy.

Will my toes ever warm up?

I'm Gonna die with my boots on.
