Just sold my '93 Skandic. I told the guy $600 if he could get it running. It's been just sitting there for eight or nine years. He got it running.
I was sorry to see it go. I had some good years on the trapline with it. Didn't catch a lot, but had a lot of fun.
The guy comes to hand me the money and says, "I see you have some marten boxes back there." And of course we started talking trapping. I forgot to ask if he posts on Trapperman.
Turns out he plans to use the machine for trapping. So my Skandic has gone to a good home.

We need some snow here to be able to run. To sled, yes But I'm good with no snow but the couple inches we have now.

you didn't sell him all your unused traps and martin boxes , your busy writing novels and nursing that leg.
glad you found someone who will put it to good use , just giving you a hard time I like to make fun of sales people also I am not one.

At least a trapper owns it now.It probly couldn't keep up with them ambulances any way.

We need some snow here to be able to run. We've had snow for a while but not cold enough to freeze the rivers and creeks,and black muck holes on the trapping trails. It is getting cold now for a few days-minus 30c-so it will be good to get the snowmachine for a run in the bush.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
