Nice picture! Good luck.

Was -7 and windy

Any heavier and I cant bloody walk.

Wore the same thing last year at -17 and managed to sit for 6 hrs without issue. Had 12 deer within 7 yards of the stand that day. Hoping the temps drop and the deer start moving. This warm crap has to stop

Good you got some meat for the winter.

I remember sitting through a radio tracking study done in your area from the 1980-90's time on the deer movement.(this was given in Manitoba) Some of the deer were moving 200 miles in 3 days once they start to move, especially out of the lake effect snow zones. That study made all the deer managers have to sit down and re-design the micro managing in your zone hunting, and some of the old boys were not too happy to do some desk work and go out and break it to the local game and fish boys.

They have to swim, or walk the ice here to get to this run. The cold is gonna screw us for a bit.

Going to help a buddy look for a buck today headed to another yard inland.

I want to hunt the loring yard next yr.

Summer and fall numbers , of local deer in the yard area , seem to be fairly low . Where we hunt. Do have a fair bit of hunting pressure. Cold and a good drop of snow gets , them moving in. Good luck finding your buck .Watch your Ravens, they know where he is. old243
